Course Description
Do you want to cycle safely and confidently on the roads in the City?
On this course you will learn how to cycle on quiet local roads
This course is aimed at:
Over 16's and those who want to cycle more confidently on roads
Course structure
1 session of up to 5 hours
- Basic on road-movements such as passing parked cars
- Road positioning
- Turning at junctions safely
- Identify hazards on the road
- Communicating with other road users
Things to know
- Bring your own bike (roadworthy)
- Helmet is recommended but is optional
- Suitable clothing for the weather on the day
- The course can start at Hove or Preston Park
